Local Edge (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit www.localedge-consulting.com (the “Site”) or engage with us as a client.

Information we collect

Automatically collected by our hosting provider

Visitor IP addresses, browser type, device information, and referring URLs are collected by Cloudflare (our hosting provider) for security, fraud prevention, and basic traffic analytics. We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics services.

Provided by you

If you contact us via the Site’s email links, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. If you become a client, you may share business information so we can perform the services you’ve engaged us for — including workflow details, customer data, and access credentials (where authorized).

Payment information

Client payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store or have access to your credit card number. The processor’s privacy practices apply to that data.

How we use information

• To respond to inquiries
• To deliver services to clients
• To send service-related communications (billing, account, support)
• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect against fraud and unauthorized access

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Third-party services

We share information with the following service providers strictly as needed to operate:

• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery
• Stripe — payment processing (when applicable to client engagements)
• Anthropic — when Claude is configured as part of a client engagement, with the client’s authorization. Anthropic does not train its models on client data.
• Microsoft 365 — email infrastructure for our hello@ and admin@ addresses

Your rights

You may:

• Request a copy of any personal information we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your information
• Opt out of marketing communications (we don’t currently send marketing emails)

Cookies

We do not currently use cookies on the Site for analytics, tracking, or advertising. Cloudflare may set essential security cookies. If our cookie usage changes, we will update this policy.

Data retention

We retain client business information for the duration of the engagement plus 12 months for tax and records purposes, then we delete it on request. Email correspondence is retained for up to two years.

Children

The Site is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the Site for at least 30 days after publication.
